Skoun's Life Skills Program

Based on the Lion's Quest Life Skills Program, Skoun has developed an Arabic-based animation video series for grades 1-8 aimed at promoting service-learning, social and emotional learning, bullying prevention, character education, and drug awareness. 

Since 2005, this program has been implemented by Skoun with schools in an in-person setting.

The video tutorials based on the Lions Quest Life Skills program include:

• 28 video tutorials
• 6 lessons for each grade level 1, 2, 3 and 4 on different social and personal skills such as
  setting positive goals, managing stress and strong emotions, handling conflicts in relationships,
  standing up to peer pressure, dealing with bullying behavior, etc.
  • One common introductory lesson for the four grade levels 1, 2, 3 and 4 that introduce
  beneficiaries to the online program.
  • 3 lessons on substance use targeting teenagers in grades 6-8
